息子の海友は自宅水中出産で誕生した。初めて息子の出産の話しをすると、「水中出産？しかも自宅で？どうして？どうやって？」と驚かれる事が多いのだが、要するに自分たちの家に助産師さんに来てもらって、バースプールと呼ばれる、ビニールシートをピンと張った、お風呂よりちょっと大きめのプールの中で出産するのだ。
